Raptor Shift Light Install-Charger
The 2014 Dodge Charger 5.7L/6.4L engine has 2 wire coils. The green wire of the shift light will tap into ONE of the eight coil driver wires. You can tap the red wire of the shift light to the power side of the coil. The black wire simply ties to ground.
The coil wire colors are as follows (use only one):
Coil #1 rpm signal is a dark blue wire with dark green stripe.
Coil #2 rpm signal is a dark blue wire with violet stripe
Coil #3 rpm signal is a dark blue wire.
Coil #4 rpm signal is a dark blue wire with gray stripe.
Coil #5 rpm signal is a dark blue wire with yellow stripe.
Coil #6 rpm signal is a dark blue wire with orange stripe.
Coil #7 rpm signal is a dark blue wire with white stripe.
Coil #8 rpm signal is a dark blue wire with violet stripe.
The switched power for all the coils is a brown wire with yellow stripe (connect red wire of shift light here).
