Raptor Shift Light Install-Kawasaki ZX10R

Pics below apply to 2004-2010 Kawasaki ZX10R

Raptor Shift Light Install-Kawasaki Zx10RThe power wire [+12v] needs to attach to the brown/white wire on the bottom of the fuse box. This is the fused side of the ignition circuit.

Raptor Shift Light Install-Kawasaki Zx10RThe ground wire needs to attach to the black/yellow wire on the service connector plug which is located on the wiring harness beside the ECU towards the rear of the bike.

Raptor Shift Light Install-Kawasaki Zx10RThe ignition/tachometer wire connects to the black/orange wire on the top left of the large ECU connector. This is a negative coil trigger for one of the stick coils.

Set the shift light to "1" cylinder mode if using the dual mode light that has upper rpm limit of 20,000 RPM and program the rpm set point directly 1:1.

If using the single mode light with upper rpm limit of 9900, set it to "2" cylinder mode and then program the rpm set point by 1/2.

**CAUTION**If using the output option for auto-shift during installation, program the shift light first, and then hook up output from shift light (brown wire) to avoid shifting into gear un-expectantly during initial programming. THE SHIFT LIGHT WILL GROUND THE BROWN WIRE WHEN IT HITS THE SETPOINT. We also recommend a small toggle switch inline with the brown wire to disable/enable autoshifting.

2004-2010 ZX10

Tach signal is wire from any of the following wires from the ECU (large ECU connector) to a stick coil. Connect green wire of shift light here to ONLY ONE of the following.

Coil driver #1: Black wire

Coil driver #2: Black with green stripe

Coil driver #3: Black with white stripe

Coil driver #4: Black with orange stripe.

Speed sensor wire is from speed sensor on transmission, blue with yellow stripe wire. This wire goes to the ECU (small ECU connector). Connect the white wire of shift light here if dual mode shift light.

Coil driver #1: Black wire

Coil driver #2: Black with red stripe

Coil driver #3: Black with white stripe

Coil driver #4: Black with orange stripe

Speed sensor wire is from rear wheel speed sensor, red with yellow stripe. This wire goes from the rear wheel speed sensor to the ECU.Connect white wire of shift light here if dual mode shift light.
